Can I remember how to write a blog peeps? Thankfully it’s all come flooding back…I did have to look up my password and log in though 🙂
All joking aside, luckily hooking up with Katy and Matt and pointing my trusty camera at them was not hard to get back into. It was the most natural thing I’ve done in yonks, and also a real treat to be able to do what makes me the happiest. These guys have really been through the “Postponed” mill, facing not only Covid, but date changes and supplier headaches and uncertainty. Now, though they are on the fast forward for their Wedding Day in only a few weeks. They are firmly on the home straight now and I cannot wait to tag along and watch it unfold for them.
These guys were kind enough to meet me at the end of the day when the light was at it’s sexiest.(Trust us we know these things) They actually managed to get a two hour window of yummy light on a grey and gloomy day, and fully embraced my crazy requests (and each other awwwwwww). Poking around smelly car parks and laying on the pavement isn’t for everyone I guess, but just look at the results. “Trust me, I shoot people” springs to mind……..
I don’t have the words to express just how happy this evening made me, and having seen how Katy rocked being shot, I can only imagine how smoking hot she’s gonna be on the big day. I’m beyond excited to get stuck in to a Wedding again. It is, after all, the best job in the world, because let’s be honest, don’t we all need a reminder now more than ever – that good stuff happens too? Here comes the Bride…YEEEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
