I love it when several postponements come together, after a few frustrating years of the dreaded ‘C’ word Katy and Matt finally got their day. Their new date really did seem to come out of nowhere, proving that time really does fly. Katy had chosen some industry heavyweight suppliers and it showed as the day ran seamlessly. They had a lovely drive to the Church in a vintage Bentley with the happiest of yellow VW Vans following behind. Got to love a Wedding convoy right?
Arriving at the intimate Church at Oxnead was reminiscent of a Jane Austen novel, flowers over the door and a walk to the arch with Katy’s loved ones alongside her. The church was bursting to the brim with some pretty awesome shafts of light illuminating the congregation. After leading all their guests down the hill to the immaculate gardens for drinky poos, guests were treated to some seriously yummy food – including Esther and I….thank you guys.
I’ll let you see how effortlessly cool the band and first dance were…I suspect some serious planning went in here. Bravo, just look at the movement in Katy’s dress. Oh for a waist like that in a frock.
Katy & Matt, congratulations on what was a pretty darn perfect Wedding Day. I think the abundant smiles say it all, it was a smoking hot day from start to finish, in the most memorable of settings. May you always be this happy x
