Covid sucks, that’s a given, but………..it meant Luke and Lucy could get married not just once, but twice. Both Weddings were very different in style and approach and both were equally beautifully done.
From the intimate Church service to the stunning Chaucer Barn, the Vicar was replaced with a dear friend for an intimate, personal ceremony. I did a quick double take as the guests strolled to their seats with a glass of fizz, realising that this celebrant would allow it – all the more reason to take your Friend to Marry you right?
The weather gods behaved and we had a truly stunning day, not a rain cloud in sight and brilliant sunshine was all around. In what was the prettiest tipi yet, there was a cosmic theme with stars hanging from the roof and a beautiful cake that I’m still wishing I’d tried:)
The irony of sheep cavorting alongside the wedding breakfast whilst the Guests tucked into Lamb wasn’t lost on me either 🙂
I love Chaucer, it’s a home from home and it’s different every time I work there. If you’re looking for a special, relaxed venue I think this could just be it. Great choice Luke & Lucy!
I suspect these two lovelies are relaxing on their honeymoon and not peeking at screens, hope you’re having the best time! Thanks for asking me to join you both not once, but twice. Can we do it again? x
